Ruined by Praise

This quote caught my eye this week and stuck with me.  Did we become too soft?  Are we too sensitive about criticism directed at us? 

The author of The Power of Positive Thinking, Norman Vincent Peale, was a renowned optimist and a controversial figure.  The book is now on my reading list.
